REGULATIONS UNDER THE WAR PRECAUTIONS ACT 1914–1916.
War Precautions (Passports) Regulations 1916—Regulations 6 and 7—Amendments.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the War Precautions Act 1914–1916 to come into operation on and from the 1st March, 1917.

War Precautions (Passports) Regulations 1916.
Amendments.
Regulation 6 is amended by inserting the following after sub-Regulation (1):—
(1a) Before an alien seaman signed on outside the Commonwealth is discharged in the Commonwealth, he shall lodge his passport with an officer authorized to receive it.”
Clause (aa) in Regulation 7 is cancelled and the following substituted therefor: —
“(aa) being the master of a vessel, discharges any alien seaman signed on outside the Commonwealth who has not previously lodged his passport with an officer authorized to receive it; or”
