REGULATION UNDER THE WAR PRECAUTIONS ACT 1914-1916.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation, under the War Precautions Act 1914-1916, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of War Precautions Regulations as Amended to this Date.

Regulation 17ea of the War Precautions Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (3) thereof and inserting the following sub-regulation in its stead:—

(3) Any person who, by word of mouth, or in writing, or in any newspaper, periodical, book, circular or other printed publication, makes a statement advocating or encouraging any action calculated to induce reservists not to comply with any notice issued or given in pursuance of the last preceding sub-regulation, shall be guilty of an offence.
