DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORT CONTROL (FEES AND EXPENSES) REGULATIONS

Short title.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Dairy Produce Export Control (Fees and Expenses) Regulations.

Fees of Chairman and members.

2. (1) The Chairman of the Board shall receive a fee of Five guineas per diem and each member or deputy of a member of the Board, while acting as such, shall receive a fee of Four guineas per diem, for attendance at meetings of the Board or at meetings of the Executive Committee of the Board.

(2) The Chairman and each member or deputy of a member of the Board shall receive a fee of Four guineas per diem for each day while engaged on such business connected with the Board as the Board determines:

Provided that the fee shall not be paid to the Chairman in respect of any day on which the Chairman or to any member or deputy of a member in respect of any day on which that member or deputy attends a meeting of the Board or of the Executive Committee of the Board.

Travelling expenses.

3. (1) The Chairman and each member or deputy of a member of the Board residing at a distance of more than 15 miles from the place where a meeting of the Board or of the Executive Committee of the

 

(a) Made under the Dairy Produce Export Control Act 1924 on 5th March, 1925.

(b) Made under the Dairy Produce Export Control Act 1924 on 23rd September, 1925.


Board is held, shall receive an allowance at the rate of One pound ten shillings per diem to cover expenses incurred in travelling in connexion with attendance at a meeting of the Board or of the Executive committee of the Board, and shall be reimbursed the return rail and steamer fares actually incurred from his place of residence to the place where the meeting of the Board or of the Executive Committee of the Board is held:

Provided that no travelling allowance shall be payable to the Chairman in respect of any day for which the Chairman or to any member or deputy of a member in respect of any day for which that member or deputy of a member receives a fee for attendance at a meeting of the Board or of the Executive Committee of the Board.

(2) The Chairman and each member or deputy of a member of the Board residing at a distance of more than 15 miles from the place where he is required to attend to any business on behalf of the Board, other than in connexion with meetings of the Board or of the Executive Committee of the Board, shall receive an allowance at the rate of One pound ten shillings per diem to cover expenses incurred in travelling to or from that place and shall be reimbursed the return rail and steamer fares actually incurred in attending to that business:

Provided that no travelling allowance shall be payable to the Chairman in respect of any day for which the Chairman, or to any member or deputy of a member in respect of any day for which that member or deputy receives a fee for attendance at the place where he is engaged in the business of the Board.
