REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1946.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901-1946.

Amendment of the Telegraph Regulations. †

Telephoning of telegrams by subscribers.

Regulation 75 of the Telegraph Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (5.) the words if the message is telephoned between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on any day except Sunday—and inserting in their stead the words if the message is telephoned between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 noon on the day on which the weekly half-holiday is observed at the telegraph office or between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on any other day except Sunday—.
