REGULATION UNDER THE DEFENCE ACT 1903-1956.*

I, THE Deputy of the GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Defence Act 1903-1956.

Amendments of the Military Financial Regulations.

Parachutists’ allowance.

1. Regulation 30 of the Military Financial Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2.) the words “Five shillings” and inserting in their stead the words “Five shillings and sixpence”;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) of that sub-regulation the words “Seven shillings and sixpence” and inserting in their stead the words “Eight shillings and fourpence”;

(c) by omitting from paragraph (c) of that sub-regulation the words “Eight shillings and sixpence” and inserting in their stead the words “Nine shillings and fivepence”; and

(d) by omitting from paragraph (d) of that sub-regulation the words “Seven shillings and sixpence” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “Eight shillings and fourpence”.

Application.

2. The amendments of regulation 30 of the Military Financial Regulations effected by the last preceding regulation apply in relation to parachutists’ allowance in respect of the fourth day of August, 1964, and subsequent days.
