Compensation (Commonwealth Government Employees) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Compensation (Commonwealth Government Employees) Act 1971.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Compensation (Commonwealth Government Employees) Regulations.

2. The Principal Regulations are amended by adding after regulation 28 the following regulation:

Laws prescribed for the purposes of the Act

“29. For the purposes of the definition of ‘prescribed law’ in sub-section 121a (1) of the Act, each law of a State or Territory specified in a Part of Schedule 5 is declared to be a prescribed law for the purposes of the Act.”.
