Trade Commissioners Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Trade Commissioners Act 1933.

After regulation 5 of the Trade Commissioners Regulations, the following regulations are inserted:
Resignation
"5AAA. (1) Subject to regulation 5AA, a Trade Commissioner who intends to resign his office shall inform the Governor-General in writing of his intention so to resign.
"(2) The resignation of a person as Trade Commissioner is not effective unless his proposed resignation is accepted by the Governor-General.
Voluntary Retirement
"5AA. (1) This regulation applies to a Trade Commissioner, other than a Trade Commissioner who is an officer of the Australian Public Service, who has attained the age of 55 years.
"(2) A Trade Commissioner to whom this regulation applies may, by writing signed by him and delivered to the Governor-General, retire from office at any time when he desires to do so.".
