The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the Passenger Movement Charge Amendment (Norfolk Island) Act 2016.
(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1 Section 3 (definition of Australia)
Repeal the definition.
2 Paragraph 4(3)(a)
After “departs from”, insert “Norfolk Island or”.
3 Paragraph 4(3)(b)
Omit “Indian Ocean”.
4 Paragraph 4(4)(a)
After “other than”, insert “Norfolk Island or”.
5 Paragraph 4(4)(b)
After “Joint Petroleum Development Area, for”, insert “Norfolk Island or”.
