Re-appointment of a member of

the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand

On 20 March 2023, the Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Ged Kearney, signed an instrument to re-appoint Dr Edwin Roscoe Taylor, under section 116(1A) of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (the Act) as a member of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand for a period of four years, commencing on 20 March 2023.  On the signing of that instrument of appointment by the Minister, subsection 117(5) of the Act ceased to apply to Dr Taylor.
