Extension of appointment of Ms Jane Lovell of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand

Ms Jane Lovell was appointed as a member of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand for a period of two years, from 8 April 2022 to 7 April 2024. As Ms Lovell’s original term as a member of the Board has ended and, as the Minister has not made a decision to re-appoint or not to re-appoint Ms Lovell, then by virtue of subsection 117(5) of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (Cth), her term as a member of the Board will continue on the basis that the original term is extended until the end of the period of 6 months from 8 April 2024; or until the Minister notifies whether Ms Lovell is reappointed or not, whichever first happens.
