Cessation of appointment of Mr Deon Mahoney to the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand

Mr Deon Mahoney was appointed as a member of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand for a term of two years, from 8 April 2022 to 7 April 2024. This term was extended by a period of six months in accordance with section 117(5) of the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (Cth). The six month extension period expired on 8 October 2024.  Mr Mahoney’s appointment as a member of the Board of Food Standards Australia New Zealand ceased at that point.
