Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988.

1. Amendment
1.1 The Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.
2. Regulation 3a (Power of Assembly to make laws)
2.1 Subregulation 3a (1):
Omit the subregulation, substitute:
β(1) Laws with respect to the following matters are excluded from paragraph 23 (1) (h) of the Act:
(a) companies limited by shares, the whole of the share capital of which is owned by the Territory or by persons who hold the share capital wholly on behalf of the Territory; and

(b) companies that are limited by shares and are wholly-owned subsidiaries of companies of the kind referred to in paragraph (a).β.
