Copyright Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Copyright Act 1968.

Educational institutions
1. Regulation 4 of the Copyright Regulations is amended—
(a) by inserting “Column 2 of” after “specified in”; and
(b) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:
“(2) For the purposes of paragraph (e) of the definition of ‘educational institution’ in section 10 of the Act, each of the institutions specified in Column 2 of Schedule 1A is declared to be an institution to which that paragraph applies.”.

2. Regulation 4A of the Copyright Regulations is amended by inserting “Column 2 of” after “specified in”.
Countries in relation to which Division 6 of Part III applies
3. Regulation 6 of the Copyright Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “the” (last occurring).
Restriction of importation into Australia of printed copies of works
4. Regulation 21 of the Copyright Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “the” (last occurring).
Restriction of importation into Papua and New Guinea of printed copies of works‑repeal
5. Regulation 22 of the Copyright Regulations is repealed.
Restriction of importation into Norfolk Island of printed copies of works
6. Regulation 23 of the Copyright Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (4) and substituting the following sub-regulation:
“(4) For the purposes of sub-regulation (2), a notice to the Collector shall be in accordance with Schedule 11.”.

7. Regulation 26 of the Copyright Regulations is amended by omitting “specified in the” and substituting “specified in”.
