Marine Navigation Levy Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Marine Navigation Levy Act 1989.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Marine Navigation Levy Regulations.

Commencement

 2. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1991.

Interpretation

 3. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“Act” means the Marine Navigation Levy Act 1989.

Amount of levy

 4. (1)  For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2)(a) of the Act, 59 cents is prescribed.

 (2) For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2)(b) of the Act, 50 cents is prescribed.

 (3) For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2)(c) of the Act, 40 cents is prescribed.

 (4) For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2)(d) of the Act, 31 cents is prescribed.
