REGULATIONS UNDER THE TREATY OF PEACE (GERMANY) ACT 1919‑1920.
I, THE GOVERNOR‑GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Treaty of Peace (Germany) Act 1919‑1920, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Treaty of Peace Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1920, No. 25, as amended to this date.)
Regulation 36 of the Treaty of Peace Regulations is amended by inserting after sub‑regulation (la) the following sub‑regulation:—
“(1aa) Where an order is made by the Governor‑General, either before or after the commencement of this sub‑regulation, releasing, as an act of grace, any property, rights and interests from the charges specified in sub‑regulation (1) of this regulation, the Governor‑General may direct that the property, rights and interests released in pursuance of the order shall be subject to a charge, in favour of the Custodian of the amount of the payments, if any, made by way of sustenance allowance to the person whose property, rights and interests are released and thereupon such, property, rights and interests shall, in the hands of any person in whom they revest by virtue of the order, be subject to that charge.”
