I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Ombudsman Act 1976.

Schedule 1 Amendments
These Regulations are the Ombudsman Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1).
These Regulations commence on the date on which section 55J of the Judiciary Act 1903 commences.
3 Amendment of Ombudsman Regulations
Schedule 1 amends the Ombudsman Regulations.
The amendments made by items 2 and 3 of Schedule 1 apply in relation to a complaint made to the Ombudsman with respect to action taken by a Department or by a prescribed authority on or after the commencement of these Regulations.
