Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1)1
I, PETER JOHN HOLLINGWORTH, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Act 1997.

1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1).
2 Commencement
These Regulations commence on gazettal.
3 Amendment of Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Regulations 1998
Schedule 1 amends the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Regulations 1998.
Schedule 1 Amendment
(regulation 3)
[1] Regulation 3, definition of quota year
substitute
quota year means:
(a) for sheepmeat and goatmeat exports to the European Union — 1 January to 31 December; or
(b) for high quality beef exports to the European Union — 1 July to 30 June; or
(c) for beef exports to the United States of America — 1 January to 31 December.
