1 Name of Regulations

  These Regulations are the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 1).

2 Commencement

  These Regulations commence on 1 January 2003.

3 Amendment of Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Regulations 1988

  Schedule 1 amends the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Regulations 1988.

insert

18 Request for enforcement of foreign orders — foreign countries

  For subsection 34 (2) of the Act, the following countries are specified:

 (a) United States of America;

 (b) Ireland;

 (c) South Africa;

 (d) United Kingdom;

 (e) Canada.
