1 Name of Order

  This Order is the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits (Family Law Superannuation) Amendment Order 2004 (No. 1).

2 Commencement

  This Order commences, or is taken to have commenced, as follows:

 (a) on 1 July 2004 — sections 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;

 (b) on the date of its notification in the Gazette — Schedule 2.

  Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits (Family Law Superannuation) Orders 2004.
