   1.                                  Name of Legislative Instrument
      1.                            This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 2/00 – Side Door Latches and Hinges) 2006 Amendment 1.
   2.                                  Commencement
      1.                            This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
2. amendment of vehicle standard
   1.                                  The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 2/00 – Side Door Latches and Hinges) 2006.

Schedule 1

[1]               Clause 2.0.3.2 Insert two new sentences after  “……..vehicles and removes reference to ‘only applies if fitted with side door(s)’ from front page”  that read:

“Vehicles certified to ADR 2/01 or a later version need not comply with this vehicle standard.

MD, NB and NC category vehicles need not comply with this vehicle standard after 10 May 2006.”
