I, ERIC ABETZ, Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation, make this Declaration under clause 13 of Schedule 27 to the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Act 1999.

1 Name of Declaration

  This Declaration is the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies (Forest Growers) Designated Bodies Declaration 2007.

2 Commencement

  This Declaration commences on 1 October 2007.

3 Designated bodies

 (1) For subclause 13 (1) of Schedule 27 to the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Act 1999, the following bodies are declared to be designated bodies in relation to the product specified in subsection (2):

 (a) Australian Forest Growers (ABN 39 000 694 904);

 (b) Australian Plantation Products & Paper Industry Council Ltd (ABN 40 005 904 898);

 (c) Australian Timber Importers Federation (ABN 77 498 242 560);

 (d) National Association of Forest Industries Limited (ABN 40 008 621 510).

 (2) For subsection (1), the product is logs:

 (a) within the meaning of clause 1 of Schedule 10 to the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Act 1999; and

 (b) subject to levy under Part 8 of Schedule 27 to the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Regulations 1999.
