      1.                               This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 4/04 – Seatbelts) 2006 Amendment 2.

      1.                               This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

1.                Insert a new clause 5.3. to read

“Side-facing seats must comply with the requirements for forwards-facing seats, except that upper torso restraints must not be provided.”
