1. Name of Management Plan Amendment

This Management Plan Amendment is the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan Amendment 2009 (No. 1)

2. Commencement

This Management Plan Amendment commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments1.

3. Amendment

The Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan 2003 is amended as follows:

Change to area of Commonwealth GAB Trawl Sector

In Clause 3, Area of Commonwealth GAB Trawl Sector, in Part 2 of
Schedule 1:

omit 

The descriptions of Item 14 and Item 15.

insert

The following descriptions of Items 14 and 15:

Item 14 - North-westerly along the geodesic to 335600S, 1323000E

Item 15 - Westerly along the geodesic to 333200S, 1320000E.
