Amendment to List of CITES Species

 

 

 

I, Debra Jayne Callister-Carter, Acting Assistant Secretary for the Wildlife Branch of the Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, pursuant to paragraphs 303CA(9)(b) and (c) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby amend the List of CITES Species established under subsection 303CA(1) of that Act, as set out in Schedule 1 to this instrument.

 

This instrument will take effect on 14 October 2010.

CITES means the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora made at Washington on 3 March 1973, as amended and in force for Australia from time to time.
