992B(1) and 1020F(1) and paragraph 911A(2)(l) – Amendment

Enabling legislation

1. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) makes this instrument under subsections 283GA(1), 601QA(1), 741(1), 926A(2), 992B(1) and 1020F(1) and paragraph 911A(2)(l) of the Corporations Act 2001.

Title

2. This instrument is ASIC Class Order [CO 14/977].

Commencement

3. This instrument commences on the later of:

(a) the date it is registered under the Legislative Instruments Act 2003; and

(b) the date it is gazetted.

Note: An instrument is registered when it is recorded on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) in electronic form: see Legislative Instruments Act 2003, section 4 (definition of register). The FRLI may be accessed at http://www.frli.gov.au/.

Amendment

ASIC Class Order [CO 04/671]

4. ASIC Class Order [CO 04/671] is amended by, in Schedule D, omitting Category 1.

ASIC Class Order [CO 05/1270]

5. ASIC Class Order [CO 05/1270] is amended by, in paragraph 6 (definition of Affected instrument), omitting subparagraph (ii).

ASIC Class Order [CO 09/425]

6. ASIC Class Order [CO 09/425] is amended by, in paragraph 14 (definition of custodian), omitting subparagraph (b)(ii) and substituting:

“(ii) ASIC Class Order [CO 14/1000] or ASIC Class Order [CO 14/1001];”.
