Warlike service ‑ OPERATION SLIPPER Declaration 2009/2, made on 16 December 2009 under subsection 3C(1) of the Defence Force (Home Loans Assistance) Act 1990 (Federal Register of Legislative Instruments No. F2010L00174)

 

  This is the Defence Force (Home Loans Assistance) (Warlike Service—Operation Slipper) Declaration 2014.

  This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

  This instrument is made under subsection 3C(1) of the Defence Force (Home Loans Assistance) Act 1990.

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

  For subsection 3C(1) of the Defence Force (Home Loans Assistance) Act 1990, duty is warlike service for the purposes of that Act if it is performed:

 (a) in an area of operation mentioned in an item of the following table; and

 (b) as a member of the Australian Defence Force allotted for duty on Operation Slipper; and

 (c) during a period mentioned in the item.
