1  Name

  This instrument is the Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) (Subsidy and Other Measures) Amendment (Indexation, Pre-Entry Leave and Other Measures) Determination 2015.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this Determination specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

However, if that schedule does not commence, the provision(s) do not commence at all.

 

Note:  This table relates only to the provisions of this Determination as originally determined. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this Determination.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under the Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) Act 1997.

Omit “section 61 of the Transitional Provisions Principles”, substitute “subsection 4427(3) of the Transitional Provisions Act”.

Repeal the section, substitute:

77  Amount of veterans’ supplement

  The amount of the veterans’ supplement for a day for a care recipient is $6.78.

9  Subsection 78(1)

Omit “section 64 of the Transitional Provisions Principles”, substitute “subsection 4427(3) of the Transitional Provisions Act”.

10  Section 79

Repeal the section, substitute:

79  Amount of homeless supplement

  The amount of the homeless supplement for a day for a care recipient is $15.49.

 


Schedule 2 Residential Care Subsidy for Pre-Entry Leave

 

Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) (Subsidy and Other Measures) Determination 2014

Repeal the section, substitute:

 

12  Basic subsidy amount for care recipients on preentry leave

 

The basic subsidy amount for a day for a care recipient who is on preentry leave is nil.

 

Note:          Preentry leave is defined in section 445E of the Transitional Provisions Act.
