Australian Postal Corporation (Performance Standards) Regulations 1998

1  Name

  This is the Australian Postal Corporation (Performance Standards) Amendment (Speed of Mail Delivery) Regulation 2015.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

2.  Schedule 1

A single day to be fixed by the Minister by notice in the Gazette.

However, if the provisions do not commence within the period of 12 months beginning on the day after this instrument is registered, they commence on the day after the end of that period.

Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this instrument as originally made. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this instrument.

  This instrument is made under the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

 

Australian Postal Corporation (Performance Standards) Regulations 1998

1  Paragraph 6(2)(b)

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

 (b) within the delivery time for the address mentioned in the following table for:

 (i) reserved service letters for which an additional fee is payable for a priority service (priority letters); and

 (ii) reserved service letters other than priority letters (regular letters).

2  Paragraph 6(2)(b) (table)

Repeal the table, substitute:
