Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015

I, MATHIAS HUBERT PAUL CORMANN, Minister for Finance, make this determination under section 12 (1) (a) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.

1.                      Name of Determination

This determination is the Medical Research Future Fund (Amount to be Transferred from the Health and Hospitals Fund) Determination 2015.

2.                      Commencement

This determination commences on the day on which it is registered.

Note   Section 42 of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003 (which deals with disallowance of legislative instruments) does not apply to this instrument: see section 12 (2) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.

3.                      Amount to be transferred

For section 12 (1) (a) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015, $1,010,000,000 is to be transferred from the Health and Hospitals Fund to the Medical Research Future Fund.

Note   The Medical Research Future Fund is the Medical Research Future Fund established by section 11 of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.
