1  Name

  This is the Legislative Instruments (Fuel Standards Instruments) Sunset-altering Declaration 2016.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under subsection 51A(1) of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003.

4  Repeal of fuel standards instruments to facilitate review etc.

 (1) Each of the following instruments is repealed on 1 October 2019:

 (a) the Fuel Quality Information Standard (Ethanol) Determination 2003;

 (b) the Fuel Quality Information Standard (Ethanol E85) Determination 2012;

 (c) the Fuel Quality Standards (Register of Prohibited Fuel Additives) Guidelines 2003;

 (d) the Fuel Standard (Autogas) Determination 2003;

 (e) the Fuel Standard (Automotive Diesel) Determination 2001;

 (f) the Fuel Standard (Biodiesel) Determination 2003;

 (g) the Fuel Standard (Ethanol E85) Determination 2012;

 (h) the Fuel Standard (Petrol) Determination 2001.

 (2) The instruments mentioned in subsection (1):

 (a) would, apart from this declaration, be repealed by section 50 of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003; and

 (b) will be the subject of a single review.

 (3) The making of this declaration will facilitate the undertaking of the review of the instruments and the implementation of its findings.

5  Repeal of this instrument

  This instrument is repealed on 2 October 2019.
