AUSTRALIAN VALUES STATEMENT FOR
PUBLIC INTEREST CRITERION 4019 – 2016/011

(Schedule 4, Part 3, Clause 3.1)

I, PETER DUTTON, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under Clause 3.1 of Part 3 of Schedule 4 to the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) APPROVE for public interest criterion 4019, the Australian Values Statement in the Schedule to this Instrument for the purpose of applicants seeking to satisfy the criteria required at the time of making a decision regarding the grant of a Subclass 500 (Student) visa or a Subclass 590 (Student Guardian) visa.

This Instrument, Australian Values Statement for Public Criterion 4019 – 2016/011,
IMMI 16/011, commences on 1 July 2016.
