ARRANGEMENTS FOR RESIDENT RETURN VISA APPLICATIONS 2016/042

(Items 1118A, 1128 and 1126 and subregulation 2.09(3))

I, PETER DUTTON, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under subregulation 2.07(5) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) for subregulation 2.09(3) of Part 2 and subregulation 2.07(5) of the Regulations for the purposes of items 1118A Special Eligibility (Class CB), 1128 Return (Residence) (Class BB) and 1216 Resident Return (Temporary) (Class TP) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations:

REVOKE Instrument IMMI 15/033 (F2015L00550), Arrangements for Resident Return Visa Applications 2015, signed 16 April 2015; and
SPECIFY for the purposes of paragraph 2.09(3)(a) of the Regulations, that an oral application for a 1128 Return (Residence) (Class BB) visa may be made using the following telephone number: 131 881
SPECIFY for the purposes of paragraph 2.09(3)(b) of the Regulations, that an oral application for a 1128 Return (Residence) (Class BB) visa may be made during the following times: 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
SPECIFY under subregulation 2.07(5) of the Regulations, for the purposes of:
1. subitems 1118A(1), 1128(1) and 1216(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the relevant approved form listed in the Schedule to this instrument; and
2. paragraphs 1118A(3)(a), 1128(3)(a), 1216(3)(a) and 1216(3B)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the relevant place and manner for making an application for the relevant class of visa, listed in the Schedule to this Instrument.

This Instrument, Arrangements for Resident Return Visa Applications 2016/042, IMMI 16/042, commences on 1 July 2016.
