Crimes Regulations 1990

1  Name

  This is the Crimes Amendment (Prescribed Schemes and Orders) Regulation 2016.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

  This instrument is made under the Crimes Act 1914.

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

 

Crimes Regulations 1990

1  Regulation 5 (heading)

Repeal the heading, substitute:

5  Prescribed State and Territory prerelease permit schemes

2  Subregulation 5(1)

Repeal the subregulation, substitute:

 (1) For the purposes of subsection 19AZD(3) of the Act, the prerelease permit schemes mentioned in the table are prescribed.
