ARRANGEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY WORK AND TEMPORARY ACTIVITY VISA APPLICATIONS 2016/112

(Items 1212B, 1217, 1231, 1234, 1237 and 1238)

I, PETER DUTTON, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under
subregulation 2.07(5) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) for items 1212B, 1217, 1231, 1234, 1237 and 1238 of Schedule 1 to the Regulations:

  1. REVOKE Instrument IMMI 15/042 (F2015L00555), Arrangements for Temporary Work Visa Applications 2015, signed 16 April 2015;
  2. REVOKE Instrument IMMI 15/121 (F2015L01447), Arrangements for Temporary Work (Short Stay Activity) (Subclass 400) Visa Applications 2015, signed 15 September 2015;
  3. SPECIFY, in Schedule 1 to this Instrument, under subregulation 2.07(5) of the Regulations, for the purposes of:
    1. subitems 1212B(1), 1217(1), 1231(1), 1237(1) and 1238(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the relevant approved forms listed Column B; and
    2. paragraphs 1212B(3)(a), 1217(3)(a), 1231(3)(a) and item 1 of the table in subitems 1237(3) and 1238(3) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the relevant place and manner for making an application for the relevant class of visa, listed in Column C; and
  4. SPECIFY, in Schedule 2 to this Instrument, for Temporary Work (International Relations) (Class GD) visa applications:
    1. for the purposes of subregulation 2.07(6) of  the Regulations, classes of applicants listed in Column C and to whom Column B and Column D relevantly apply;
    2. for the purposes of subitem 1234(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the approved forms listed in Column B; and
    3. for the purposes of paragraph 1234(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations, the place and manner where an application must be made listed in Column D.


This Instrument, Arrangements for Temporary Work and Temporary Activity Visa Applications 2016/112, IMMI 16/112, commences immediately after the commencement of the Migration Amendment (Temporary Activity Visas) Regulation 2016.
