Radiocommunications (Emergency Locating Devices) Class Licence Amendment 2016 (No. 1)
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following Amendment under subsection 132(1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992.

This is the Radiocommunications (Emergency Locating Devices) Class Licence Amendment 2016 (No. 1).
This Amendment commences at the start of the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

This Amendment is made under subsection 132(1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992.
The instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 is amended as set out in that Schedule.
Schedule 1—Amendment
Radiocommunications (Emergency Locating Devices) Class Licence 2016 (F2016L01399)
1 Subsection 5(1) (the definition of radar)
Substitute the following:
“radar has the meaning given to it in the Radio Regulations Articles, published by the International Telecommunication Union as in force from time to time.”
