This Instrument, Arrangements for Student Visa Applications 2017/011, IMMI 17/011, commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

| Application must be made: i) as an internet application; or ii) by submitting the application in accordance with the directions in the email authorising the use of form 157A, and with a copy of the authorising email, before midnight (AEST or AEDST when applicable) on the day following the date on which the authorising email was sent by (an officer of) the Department of Immigration and Border Protection; or iii) If the applicant is outside Australia the authorised application may also be made at a diplomatic, consular or migration office maintained by or on behalf of the Commonwealth outside Australia. |
