1  Name

  This is the Radiocommunications (Consequential Amendments) Instrument 2017 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table:

   Note 1:   The Federal Register of Legislation may be accessed at www.legislation.gov.au.

Note 2:  In relation to each Schedule specified in column 1 of the table, both of the events mentioned in column 2 of the table must occur before the Schedule commences.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under:

(a)    subsection 60(1) of the Australian Communications and Media Authority Act 2005; and

(b)    paragraph 107(1)(f), subsections 132(1) and 182(1) and section 262 of the Radiocommunications Act 1992.  

4  Amendments

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Changes to references to Radiocommunications (Devices Used in the Inshore Boating Radio Services Band) Standard 2008

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:
