Determination 2017/20:

Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office

(i)                     Pursuant to subsections 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to certain holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.

(ii) This determination commences the day after registration on the Federal Register of Legislation unless otherwise specified.

1.1                 In this part, Determination Number 11 of 2017 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.

2.2 Table A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing the nameWestern Sydney Airport Corporation Limited (WSA Co) in Column 1 with WSA Co Limited.

2.3 Table A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting A17 in Column 5 for the entry for “Indigenous Business Australia”.

2.4 The Additional sub-clause A17 to Table A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the term “Deleted” and inserting the following: “Indigenous Business Australia: A Member of the Board who is appointed Chair of the Finance, Investment and Performance Committee will receive an annual fee of $11,730.  A Member of the Board who is appointed a Member of the Finance, Investment and Performance Committee will receive an annual fee of $5,870.”

2.5 Clauses 2.3 to 2.4 commence on 26 October 2017.

 

2.6 Table B3 of Schedule B of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing the current entry for Veterans’ Review Board (Senior Member, Member) and inserting the following entry after the entry for “Superannuation Complaints Tribunal”.
