This instrument is the Insurance Contracts and Other Laws (Repeal and Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2017.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the following:
(a) the Insurance Act 1973;
(b) the Insurance Contracts Act 1984;
(c) the Terrorism Insurance Act 2003.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Repeals and amendments
Insurance Contracts Regulations 1985
1 The whole of the instrument
Repeal the instrument.
2 Paragraph 4C(2)(c)
Omit “subregulation 2 (1) of the Insurance Contracts Regulations 1985”, substitute “subsection 4(1) of the Insurance Contracts Regulations 2017”.
Terrorism Insurance Regulations 2003
3 Paragraph 23(b) of Schedule 1
Omit “subregulation 31 (2) of the Insurance Contracts Regulations 1985”, substitute “subsection 37(2) of the Insurance Contracts Regulations 2017”.
