Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997
This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Social Services Measures No. 4) Regulations 2018.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Insert:
298 | NDIS Jobs and Market Fund | To promote the effective operation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme by funding activities directed to: (a) increasing the number and capability of disability support providers and workers; and (b) ensuring that there are sufficient disability support providers and workers to service all areas of need. This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to: (a) measures with respect to postal, telegraphic, telephonic and other like services; or (b) measures providing, or incidental to the provision of, pharmaceutical, sickness or hospital benefits or medical services or dental services; or (c) measures to meet Australia’s obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, particularly Articles 3, 4, 9, 19, 20, 25 and 26; or (d) measures undertaken in the exercise of the executive power of the Commonwealth. |
