Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Regulations 1992
This instrument is the Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Regulations 2018.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Act 1991.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
In this instrument:
Act means the Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Act 1991.
(1) For the purposes of paragraph 7(2)(a) of the Act, 17 cents is prescribed as the levy rate for each of the first 5,000 tons of a ship’s tonnage.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph 7(2)(b) of the Act, 17.1 cents is prescribed as the levy rate for each ton by which a ship’s tonnage is more than 5,000 tons but not more than 20,000 tons.
(3) For the purposes of paragraph 7(2)(c) of the Act, 17 cents is prescribed as the levy rate for each ton by which a ship’s tonnage is more than 20,000 tons but not more than 50,000 tons.
(4) For the purposes of paragraph 7(2)(d) of the Act, 15.5 cents is prescribed as the levy rate for each ton by which a ship’s tonnage is more than 50,000 tons.
