      1.                            This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005 Amendment 7.
   2.                                  Commencement
      1.                            This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
2. amendment of vehicle standard
   1.                                  The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005.

Schedule 1

[1]               Clause 3.3, renumber as clause 3.4.

[2]               Insert a new clause 3.3 to read

“Vehicles certified to ADR 42/05 or a later version need not comply with this rule.”
