(1) This instrument is the Migration (LIN 19/001: Payment of Visa Application Charges and Fees in Foreign Currencies) Instrument 2019.
(2) This instrument may be sited as LIN 19/001.
This instrument commences 1 January 2019.
This instrument is made under paragraph 5.36(1A)(a) of the Regulations.
In this instrument:
ISO means International Organization for Standardization.
Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
6 Payment of Visa Application Charges and Fees in Foreign Currencies
For the working out of the amount of payment of a fee, the table in Schedule 1 specifies:
(a) the name of the currency in Column A, with that currency’s corresponding ISO code in Column B; and
(b) the Exchange Rate for the corresponding currency specified in paragraph (a), in Column C.
