Order to Call Out the Australian Defence Force Reserves

 

I, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 28(1) of the Defence Act 1903 call out some of the Australian Defence Force Reserves, specified in Schedule 1, for continuous fulltime service, as specified by the Chief of Defence Force, to provide civil aid, humanitarian assistance, medical or civil emergency or disaster relief , from the date of this Order, for a period of ten days unless revoked earlier.

Schedule 1 to

 

  Order to Call Out the Australian Defence Force Reserves

 

The following members of the Reserves are called out for continuous full time service:

a)                  Army Reserve members from Forces Command;

b)                  Air Force Reserve members from Combat Support Group; and

c)                  Navy Reserve members from Fleet Command.
