Migration (IMMI 17/018: Working Holiday Visa – Specified Work and Regional Australia) Instrument 2017 (F2017L01032)
(1) This instrument is Migration (LIN 20/103: Subclass 417 (Working Holiday) Visa—Regional Australia and Specified Work) Instrument 2020.
(2) This instrument may be cited as LIN 20/103.
This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
This instrument is made under the definitions of regional Australia and specified work in subitem 1225(5) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations and according to subection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
In this instrument:
bushfire recovery work means work undertaken, including work undertaken on a volunteer basis, to assist with bushfire recovery efforts in an area mentioned in subsection 6(2), including:
(a) construction, farming, or any other work in association with recovery or restitution of land, property, farm animals or wildlife; and
(b) providing support services or assistance to people living, working or volunteering in the affected areas.
Regulations means the Migration Regulations 1994.
The instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument is repealed as set out in that Schedule.
