National Health Security (National Notifiable Disease List) Instrument 2018

1  Name

  This instrument is the National Health Security (National Notifiable Disease List) Amendment (Human Coronavirus with Pandemic Potential) Instrument 2020.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Repeal the note, substitute:

Note: In relation to the disease human coronavirus with pandemic potential:

(a) COVID19 is the name given by the World Health Organization to this disease; and

(b) severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV2) is the name given by the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses to the virus that causes this disease.
