1  Name

  This instrument is the VET Student Loans Amendment Rules (No.2) 2020.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule â€” Amendments to the VET Student Loans Rules 2016

1  After subsection 41(3) (before the notes)

Insert:

(4) Subsections (1) and (3) do not apply if the liability to pay the VSL tuition protection levy is waived under section 41A.

2  After section 41

Insert:

41A Waiver of VSL tuition protection levy

Payment of the VSL tuition protection levy is waived for all approved course providers for the calendar year 2020.
