Order to Call Out the Australian Defence Force Reserves

 

I, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Minister for Defence under subsection 28(4)(b) of the Defence Act 1903, call out some of the Australian Defence Force Reserves, as specified in Schedule 1, under subsection 28(1) of the Defence Act 1903 for continuous fulltime service, as specified by the Chief of Defence Force, to provide civil aid, humanitarian assistance, medical or civil emergency or disaster relief, from the date of this Order, until revoked.
