Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Port of Esperance) Determination 2019

1  Name

  This instrument is the Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Port of Esperance) Amendment (2021 Measures No. 1) Determination 2021.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Port of Esperance) Determination 2019

1  Section 4

Insert:

freight container means a reusable container:

 (a) that is designed to be used to transport goods by one or more modes of transport; and

 (b) that can be transferred from one mode of transport to another without unloading the goods from the container; and

 (c) that is known as a 20footlong container or a 40footlong container.

2  After paragraph 6(a)

Insert:

 (aa) freight containers;

3  Section 8 (table item 2)

Repeal the item, substitute:
