Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014

1  Name

  This instrument is the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Amendment (Digital Transformation Agency) Rules 2021.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

  This instrument is made under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.

Schedule 1Amendments

 

Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014

1  Subclause 10(1) of Schedule 1

Omit “(1)”.

2  Paragraph 10(1)(e) of Schedule 1

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

 (e) the purposes of the listed entity include the following:

 (i) to provide strategic and policy leadership on wholeofgovernment and shared information and communications technology (ICT) investments and digital service delivery;

 (ii) to develop, deliver and monitor wholeofgovernment strategies, policies and standards for digital and ICT investments, including ICT procurement;

 (iii) to manage strategic coordination and oversight functions for digital and ICT investments during the life cycle of a project, including by providing advice on wholeofgovernment opportunities to reuse the investments;

 (iv) to manage wholeofgovernment digital procurement to simplify processes, reduce costs and generate opportunities to reuse digital and ICT products and services;

 (v) to provide advice to the responsible Minister for the entity on wholeofgovernment and shared digital and ICT investment proposals;

 (vi) to undertake other relevant tasks as the responsible Minister for the entity may require from time to time.

3  Subclause 10(2) of Schedule 1

Repeal the subclause.
